Marketing Manager – NAS Marketing, Amazon

The NASM Deals, Emerging Brands, and Collections (DEBCO) team is focused on driving discovery of cross-category marketing for strategic brands, such as small businesses, Handmade, Black-owned businesses, and high value emerging brands. The team centralizes and advocates for emerging third-party (3P) sellers to increase visibility and drive growth for high-value, new-to-market, unique, and buzzworthy products and brands. The team is looking for a creative, customer-obsessed, highly entrepreneurial Marketing Manager with strong merchandising, organizational, and analytical skills.

This role provides a great opportunity to make an outsized impact in a burgeoning space while collaborating closely with talented leaders to launch innovative marketing that unlocks cross-category discovery for our customers. The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong marketing manager, who is hard-working, data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable making decisions in the face of ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

You will work closely with marketing managers on the NAS Events and Collection teams, as well as Marketing Managers on the underrepresented strategic cohort teams to increase 3P share of voice in strategic initiatives. You will be the single threaded leader to integrate priority 3P selection into our scaled initiatives (Paid Social, Collections, Events, Experimentation, and Deals), and liaison between NASM and 3P teams. You will optimize standard operating procedures, best practices, and playbooks in support of streamlining collaboration between NASM and 3P teams.

The newly developed NAS Marketing & Creative team helps customers discover and engage with new, popular, and relevant products across categories. We do this by combining technology, science, innovation, marketing, and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences alongside cutting-edge tools for marketers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

– Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
