About This Role

As a Marketing Project Management Specialist, you’ll work with the entire marketing team to ensure marketing programs run smoothly and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you’ll populate and groom the marketing department’s project backlog, conduct project intake calls with external stakeholders, fill out creative briefs for each project, and ensure projects are not missing deadlines.

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who takes initiative, has impeccable attention to detail, adds expertise to our team, and demonstrates a passion for marketing operations and project management. Some traits we are looking for include:

– Previous experience acting as admin or superuser for a project management tool (ClickUp preferred)

– Capacity to manage dozens of projects simultaneously

– Comfort working independently to manage projects

– Comfort enforcing adherence to process across the marketing team

– Ability to collaborate with marketing leaders to improve

processes

What You’ll Be Working On

Responsibilities

– Maintain documented project management processes

– Maintain best practices for ClickUp usage and serve as a ClickUp admin and superuser

– Evaluate new technology and add-on applications to improve marketing project management processes

– Align with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules across multiple projects

– Identify and develop new opportunities for off-team collaboration, creating new systems and processes

– Facilitate weekly OKR check-in meetings

– Schedule quarterly OKR planning meetings

– Schedule project kickoff calls

As a client services organization, travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Outcomes

– Ensure on-time completion of all marketing projects. When this is not possible, alert the marketing leadership team early and collaborate on the best path forward.

– Ensure adherence to project management processes among all marketing team members.

Qualifications

Experience

– BA/BS in a related field (Marketing, Communications, or Business)

– 3+ years of relevant experience

Ideal Additional Qualifications/Experience:

– Experience at a professional services firm or consultancy

– BA/BS degree in Design or a similar field

– Familiarity with the Internet of Things (IoT) space is strongly preferred

– Experience managing a dynamic, geographically diverse environment

Compensation

Base Compensation:

Between USD $35,000 and $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Variable compensation:

Up to 5% of your base salary in the first year.
