Want to be part of this? We currently have an exciting opportunity for Marketing Technology Engineer II to join our Tailored Technology team. This individual will be responsible for Marketing Automation development within the Tailored Brands business units and collaborate with cross-functional business teams to develop technical solutions for Marketing Automation technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization Site Mapping Code for mapping website data layer into Salesforce Interaction objects.
  • Design data feeds for products, catalogs, customers, email engagement, and any additional data feeds necessary to support personalization use cases into Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization.
  • Work with Business and Analytics teams to design recipes for product recommendations, perform algorithm tuning, and support A/B testing strategies for Email and Web campaigns.
  • Design and develop Open Time Email & Triggered Campaigns using Journey Builder and Automation Studio for use cases identified by the Business.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce Product Recommendations, Data Feeds, and Affinity Building and debug code issues related to Site Mapping of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Journey orchestration using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Troubleshoot and provide resolution for system performance issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Marketing Cloud Personalization Sitemap JavaScript
  • Edit HTML modules/templates.
  • Create roles and manage user permissions in marketing automation platforms.
  • Manage sFTP access, key management, among other platform administrations in marketing automation platforms.
  • Managing Web to Email life cycle flows

What you’ll bring

  • 5 or more years of experience working hands-on in marketing automation applications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Professional Experience in the development & administration of any applications on Salesforce or a similar platform (Preferably: Marketing Cloud & Personalization)
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools: Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio, Interaction Studio, Datorama, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • Experience supporting delivery of high-volume email campaigns and with
    • Web product recommendation tools and associated architecture
    • Database management and extracts
    • AMP Script
  • Strong understanding of data integration patterns
  • Working knowledge of APIs and integration patterns
  • Strong SQL Knowledge
  • Experience in SFMC data integrations: data extensions, integration with external systems (via APIs or native integrations)
  • Required ability to propose, document, and implement software project lifecycle solutions (Technical recommendations and documentation)
  • Good to have:
    • Reporting and analytics using Datorama
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization certifications (formerly known as Interaction Studio)
    • Experience with other tools like (Adobe Target, Cheetah, Unica Interact, Wunderkind)

$90,700-$151,100. This salary range is specific to Colorado, New York, California, and Washington, and may differ in other locations. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote location.
