Job Description
Assist Resort Guests and Employees in a fast paced team oriented selling environment by maintaining 4 Key Service standards. Ability to understand both food handling and barista duties as it applies in a café environment. Ability to understand the sales of products and customer service as it relates to retail sales.
Responsibilities
- General knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale systems.
- Maintain housekeeping standards as applied to both retail merchandising and Café food and beverage cleanliness.
- Ability to check in retail merchandise with accuracy and restock Café counter to supply and demand.
- Good communication skills working directly with customers face to face as well as good phone etiquette.
- Schedule flexibility to work Holidays and weekends, mornings and evenings.
- Understanding of the basic operation of kitchen equipment as it relates to the Café counter.
- Involved in physical inventories once per quarter or 4 times per year.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to understand POS system to ring standard transactions and returns.
- Abilty to stand on feet for a long period of time
Pay Rate: $ 17.50
