The Mascot Assistant is responsible for assisting the Mascot Manager in their responsibilities year-round, operating as a mascot handler on gamedays, mascot assistant on non-gamedays, and as a backup mascot performer as needed. Role Responsibilities:
- When applicable, perform as Rampage – the official mascot of the Los Angeles Rams
- Assist Rampage in all responsibilities for each Rams’ home game.
- When applicable, assist Rampage in navigating non-gameday schedule.
Role Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Capabilities):
- At least one year of mascot experience (i.e. college, sports, etc.).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Must be available for all 10-11 home games during the season; including games that may fall on holidays.
- Availability for potential playoff home games required as well.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. in a variety of environments.
- Must be able to move equipment on gamedays around SoFi Stadium.
- Follow and execute detailed instructions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in Photoshop and Asana preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in general office skills and use of office equipment (copier, laser printers, fax machine, telephones, computers, etc.).
- Strong organizational, writing, and verbal skills.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with various audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects within the timelines required and with accuracy.
- Display the ability to interact with athletes, coaches, and club executives and possess high-degree of discretion, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance.
- Strong ability to work with coworkers and supervisors in a team environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is a must.
Salary: $16/hr.
