JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $17.25 per hour
Day Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials, parts or containers to be moved to appropriate location to support work orders, assembly lines, shipping dept, or assigned work area
- Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and checks them utilizing the proper receiving and inspection procedures
- Correctly receives product and materials from vendors by utilizing the established receiving procedures, if required
- Responsible for transporting material off and on trailers
- Identifies damaged material
- Documents inbound and outbound transactions
- Housekeeping in the department (sweeping, cleaning, straightening)
- Load and unload route trucks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form a must
- Experience using hand tools
- Ability to Read and Write in the English language
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work safely and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must wear steel toed safety shoes ,approved eye protection, gloves, arm guards
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Able to work in a hot environment
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
- Overhead crane experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
