Shift Requirements
7pm – 7am 3-4 days/week About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Material Handlers are responsible for the movement of raw materials, product components, finished goods and other items as directed.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Move raw materials, components, finished goods, etc to their assigned locations and set up if required
- Ensure that material movements are consistent with current procedures regarding proper identification, fit, form and function and suitability for storage/shipment
- Complete a fork lift operators checklist prior to operating equipment and immediately report any unsafe conditions that may exist
- Load all inbound and outbound freight if needed
- Provide assistance to offline orders
- Perform cycle counting of various products, components and supplies
- Perform cycle counting of various products and supplies, maintain tool and supply logs and investigate inventory inaccuracies
- Utilizes overtime prior to shift start to ensure accuracy of current product
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)
- Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; is expected to promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities

- 0-2 years
- Previous Floater experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
- Must be forklift certified or complete the necessary training to obtain certification
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Suite
- Good manual dexterity
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
