A Material Handling Associate job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you will be responsible to help set and meet team goals by analyzing production rates data, reviewing stock records, and preparing purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements. You”ll also identify material shortages and support problem solving resolution and document and distribute scrap/ salvage parts. To be considered for this role, you will have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.
Material Handling Associate Job Duties:
• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in distributing of materials, parts,
supplies, and equipment to manufacturing.
• Performs Project Kitting according to detailed instructions.
• Packages and prepares materials for delivery to the designated program and manufacturing
locations.
• May prepare and maintain records of material shortages to manufacturing.
• Performs Cycle counts and inventory verification of parts based on information provided.
• Distributes materials received from stores to manufacturing areas.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine
tasks.
• Ability to work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment/decision-making.
• General organizational skills.
• Good communications skill, both verbal and written.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to develop basic knowledge of the enterprise software tools as required by job.
