A Material & Logistics Specialist job in Jacksonville FL is available through Belcan. In this role you will provide on-site Material & SE Logistic Support. To be considered you will have 5+ years of Material, Logistics, Cycle counting experience.
Material & Logistics Specialist Responsibilities:
a. Support F135 Depo and/or the Warehouse.
b. Material Specialist will be responsible for the management of materials and support equipment assets while interfacing with customer Logistics provider.
c. Manage materials and SE receiving inspections, preparation of outbound shipments to included dangerous goods, shipping documents, and appropriate updates via SAP.
d. Assist with managing inventory, including Government inventory audits.
e. Perform all required F135 Depot Material Support operations at Jacksonville campus.
– Attend daily production meetings to gather hardware and consumable requirements.
– Perform all dock operations, such as loading and unloading Freight (including but not limited to modules, material, and support equipment), confirming the inbound manifest, and creating outbound manifest.
-Perform basic receiving functions of material management in the information technology (IT) system, including verification of part number, quantity, paperwork, and recording indications of any damage.
– Visually inspect material received in as necessary to identify damage due to transportation, packaging, manufacture, and other causes prior to receipt at the Jacksonville facility.
– Perform kit breakdown operations, including unpacking kits, loading supermarket carts, and matching to other hardware (instrumented, etc.)
– Manage inventory of product.
-Build and deliver kits to assembly floor build cells
-Move internal hardware to/form build cells to inspection
-Move all onsite material to /from various locations on the Jacksonville campus.
– Capture material requirements and movements in SAP
-Perform intra-campus deliveries to the point of production and other related deliveries.
-Manage the materials in the Gate 2 area including cycle counting bins.
-Perform shipping and receiving duties and transactions of materials and support equipment.
-Coordinating the parts tracking process on the shop floor.
`- Use SAP to reconcile parts, coordinate part swaps, exchanges, reconcile Kits, perform research on material, process orders, and navigate SAP transactions to resolve reoccurring issues.
-Develop Excel spreadsheets reflecting data driven requirements or material requirements.
-Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
-Participating in material review meetings, update weekly and monthly statuses for materials, and be able to talk to specific issues within the HMC.
-Assisting with coordinating the routing of parts to outside vendors and to internal repair.
-Assisting with reconciliation to ensure that all part requirements identified at the close of Gate 1 (disassembly) is recorded and accurate.
-Track all material required for Gate 2 (parts requirements) for kitting and ensures kitting is completed in a timely manner.
-Provide materials support for Gate 3 (assembly) and Gate 4 (Test Cell).
– Provide materials support to other HMC”s as required. Review SAP analysis and Bill of Material to develop kitting layouts for new cart requirements.
– Participating in teams, committees, events and training that improve the HMC organization and support achieving Cell an Site ACE objectives.
-Coordinate with delivery assurance personnel, Third Party Logistics, and Wage Grade personnel.
f. Support Equipment responsibilities will include:
-The use of SAP to perform receiving and shipping transactions to include changing of functional locations and updating cycle counts as necessary.
-Other responsibilities will include packaging of support equipment in a manner to prevent damage while in transit and arranging for transportation of said support equipment.
