Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Material Management and Transportation Manager (level K) based out of Everett, WA to support the fulfillment organization in the Interiors Responsibility Center. Candidate will be selected for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
The Materials Management and Transportation Manager will lead a team supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, develops and implements integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives.
The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can demonstrate their knowledge of the company and multiple functional subject areas to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team.

Position Responsibilities:
- Transform the production system, drive standardization and promote continuous safety leadership and promotion of an Incident and Injury Free workplace
- Lead, develop, motivate and build trust with employees and partners
- Integrate and collaborate across the Supply Chain function
- Enhance the skill and talent of our team to meet the current and future business environment
- Identify and demonstrate standard processes from both within and outside the enterprise improvement in everything we do

- Develop and complete project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of supply chain processes and/or suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and direct reports .
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistic Support or Materials Management, Program Management
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams, preferably leading both salary and hourly personnel
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- 5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management
- 5+ years of experience with warehousing and logistics
- 5+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification
- 5+ years of experience in managing projects
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
- 5+ years of experience in performing data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, business, or related field.

Summary pay range: $107,950 – $146,050
