Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) to support the San Antonio Fulfillment Team based out of San Antonio, Texas.

The successful candidate will manage a group of Production Coordinators and Supply Chain Management Analysts to support parts, tooling, hazmat, and consumables for our Operations San Antonio team. This temporary assignment will be until the end of 2024, with the requirement of relocating to North Charleston, South Carolina afterwards.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Manages and integrates employee’s activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
  • Develops and carries out project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Leads, develops and motivates employees
  • Applies One-BPS techniques through Key Performance Indicators and lean manufacturing

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, Texas.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 3+ years of experience working with Supply Chain or Manufacturing
  • 3+ years of formal/informal team leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools
  • 1+ years of experience with an industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system such as SAP (System Applications & Products) or Material Resource Planning (MRP) system

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years in a role requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years in Lean Manufacturing and/or the Boeing Production System
  • Business knowledge, leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment

Relocation:

This position is a domestic temporary assignment located in San Antonio, Texas. Candidates will be provided a DTA (Domestic Temporary Assignment) benefits package as applicable.

Summary pay range: $101,150 – $136,850
