Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Fulfillment first line leader (level K) to join our Everett Supply Chain Fulfillment – Hazardous Material and Consumable team in Everett, Washington. This position is for first shift.

This position will provide oversight for individual contributors for Everett Site Fulfillment. We are looking for leaders that are self-starters and are systems thinkers with strong production system knowledge and ability to develop collaborative relationships. The successful candidates will have supply chain and/or manufacturing experience.

The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can demonstrate their knowledge of the company and multiple functional subject areas to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations.

Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in Everett SC Fulfillment
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and problem solving -leading various problem methods (i.e. Root cause analysis, 5 Whys, or other assessment, audit, and investigative models)
  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operation functions (Manufacturing, Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Operations)
  • 3+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with hazardous materials
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management
  • 1+ years of experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement
  • 1+ years of experience working with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system such as a Material
  • 1+ years of experience with Resources Planning (MRP) system or System Application and Product (SAP) system
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Summary pay range: Everett, Washington $121,000 – $138,147
