Overview
Under supervision to perform all custodial work throughtout the building as required. In assisting with tasks associated with the assembly, disassembly or installation of equipment, pre-fabricated structures and other facilities for various Convention Center Events.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $19 to $21.00.

Responsibilities
Perform all building custodial work to insure a clean building. Whis work will include the cleaning of all offices and public areas and sanitizing of all building restrooms. During a shift it will be expected that this work continue into areas used for Meetings, Banquets and Trade Shows as determined by supervisors.
- Monitors and maintains restrooms, replenish supplies during and after events.
- Transports trash, recycling and lobby fixtures etc…
- Polish escalators, restroom fixtures etc…..
- Clean and wipe walls, ceilings, windows, woodwork, doors and sills.
- Dust mops, wet mops floor surfaces.
- Vacuum, stain removal and carpet extracting of all carpeted areas and fabric furniture.
- Assist in tasks associated with assembly, disassembly or installation of Convention Center equipment (tables, chairs, stages etc..)
- Become a member of Teamsters Local 853.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or control. The employee is requently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or more up to 65 pounds and with the assistance of a co-worker, push wheeled carts of table, chairs, ets…weighing up to 200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, periperal vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
