A defense contractor in Englewood, CO is looking for a Satellite systems Engineer to support their TS/SCI cleared Satellite program. The engineer will support the design and development of space systems, segments, and satellite subsystems. The incumbent will interface with customers, capture system and space vehicle architectures, perform analysis and decomposition of system and subsystem requirements, conduct trade studies, support tracking and reporting of system Technical Performance Parameters, contribute to design of Fault, Detection, Isolation, and Recovery strategies, support requirement verification, contribute to conduct of program design and readiness reviews, support operation of engineering systems, and perform other duties as assigned. They are responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. They are expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Required Skills & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of Space systems Experience
Experience with Space Domain and Satellite Segment Design
Familiarity with Cameo, Magic Draw, and Rhapsody
Doors EXP
Active DoD Security Clearance or eligibility
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
STK and Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Ability to engage with end customer and government representatives
Active TS/SCI
