You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on HVAC Systems. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 3 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management plan development, implementation and administration
  • Good business and/or technical expertise in a related capacity.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.
  • Knowledge and/or use in:
    • Mechanical HVAC Equipment and Containment Applications
    • Familiar with ASHRAE and SMACNA Standards
  • Solidworks and/or AutoCAD design experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, WISHA standards related to machine guarding.
  • PMP Certification
  • Familiarity with nuclear fuel, chemical, or petrochemical fabrication processes.

As a Mechanical/HVAC Engineerin Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in theFuel Business Unit. After initial training, optional hybrid schedules are available. Your work will include performing broad, complex engineering assignments requiring originality, ingenuity and the development of new methods, providing advanced technical support related to planning, designing, analyzing, constructing and maintaining structures, systems and components, providing engineering advice as needed and displays technical competence requiring minimal direction from higher level engineering staff.This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $86,000 – $117,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
