SAR High School is seeking a Media Manager to start immediately. The Media Manager is responsible for promoting and supporting the work of the school in all of its facets. The Media Manager will oversee and monitor the creation of digital content, including photography and videography, and
Job Responsibilities:
*Film and photograph content throughout the school day.
*Develop media content to support all departments and programs including internal digital signage, website, portals, social media, youtube channel and other needs of the marketing and technology departments.
*Develop and oversee a centralized, searchable repository of all school media assets.
*Manage livestream events that occur during the school day, evening and weekends.
*Manage school’s YouTube channel, public photo galleries and other public facing media assets.
*Coordinate event and AV production for school events.
*Support digital signage throughout the school building.
*Support co-curricular clubs and activities in the area of digital media and attend/oversee programming as needed.
*Support remote school events on ZOOM and other platforms.
*Record and edit school podcasts.
*Attend and participate in departmental meetings and faculty meetings, and after-school events during the school year.
*Engage in regular professional development that supports school, department and personal goals.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and communication skills as well as strong video, video-editing and photography skills with a particular interest in working in a fast-paced school setting. This person is self-motivated, collaborative and a team-oriented professional who understands the needs of teachers, other school professionals and students, and is committed to the advancement of digital media in a school environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technology work experience, preferably in an educational setting.
This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary of $70,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience.
