What you will be doing
Albertsons Media Collective is Albertsons’ (ACI) expansion into the Retail Media Sector. It offers all brands the opportunity to drive relevance through advertising programs that leverage the unique relationship we have with our customers and the first-party data that enables that relevance. These programs will be activated on both our owned platforms and other media platforms that are not owned by ACI. Our clients are both endemic to ACI’s retail business and non-endemic yet complimentary to the engagement we have with our customers. Our mission is to serve our customers advertising for those products and services they are interested in, while driving sales for our clients and profitable growth.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, California or Boise, Idaho.
Main responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally across Albertsons Media Collective and Albertsons Companies to define enterprise level customer strategies and alignment that will drive ad revenue growth.
- Develop and implement revenue generation and growth strategies for Albertsons Media Collective for CPG clients based on building media solutions for scalability.
- Create the operating model for strategic partnership interaction, including key results to measure success.
- Identify, develop, and maintain strategic media & community partnerships on an ongoing basis while bringing proven relationships with senior salespeople at major media companies.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with pricing and yield team on creative approaches to defining deal terms including pricing models and value based on client objectives.
- Adopts a holistic perspective that considers data, analytics, customer insights, content, merchandising and different parts of the business when making plans and implementing strategies.
- Define requirements in partnership with audience insights team needed to build behavioral and seasonally relevant marketing solutions.
- Builds training material and communicates with energy to influence and inspire commitment and action of new solutions.
- Actively participate in key client or internal meetings when needed providing leadership in the field and establishing leader presence in market.
The salary range is $102,700 to $143,800 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked). PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). - Strong troubleshooting skill and oversight of the implementation and integration of new emerging tools and/or technologies that will enable Albertsons Media Collective to work effectively and efficiently as an organization.
- Media knowledge: detailed understanding of assessing target audiences, media planning and buying techniques, and evaluation of media performance.
- Retail Media Experience and/or media planning and activation experience with 7+ years of experience
- Ad Agency experience preferred.
