Job Summary
This is a 2-year limited term appointment, continuation of employment will be contingent upon availability of funding.
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is excited to recruit candidates for a Media Production Specialist I/II/III/IV. This position will provide the production of short video training segments, provide laboratory training demonstration videos, and provide other ad hoc video services in support of The National Center for Asphalt Technology.

Essential Functions
- Manages the production and worldwide distribution of materials for the outreach and/or continuing education training programs for the National Center for Asphalt Technology.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of video resources along with production scheduling.
- Selects and recommends equipment and supplies to ensure quality production of course materials.
- Assists the National Center for Asphalt Technology Training Manager with the analysis, planning, coordination, delivery and management of outreach services to ensure quality production and distribution of material.
- Acts as point-of-contact between video resources and outside stakeholders to provide information and training where necessary.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Film or Television Production, Computer Graphics or related field.
Substitutions allowed for Education: When a candidate has the required experience, but lacks the required education, they may normally apply additional relevant experience toward the education requirement, at a rate of two (2) years relevant experience per year of required education.
Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications
Minimum Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of media/video production (equipment, techniques, software, etc.) and distribution practices. Experience providing creative, technical, or support services for various medias.
Minimum Technology Skills
Videograph, lighting, multiple camera set up, sound, video editing using Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects.
Minimum License and Certifications
None Required.
