Position Summary
The Website Designer will be responsible for designing and developing the multiple websites of the brand ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing. A successful candidate will work closely with the larger marketing team and stakeholders to ensure all MHS websites are aligned with the company’s overall marketing strategy and brand messaging. The Website Designer will report to the Director, Digital Marketing and collaborate with other team members and agency partners to ensure the websites are optimized for search engines and deliver a positive user experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Helps lead the triaging and execution of all web updates/requests across multiple websites including but not limited to on-page content, template design, etc.
- Manage and maintain website content and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
- Develop and implement website designs that are aligned with the company’s brand messaging and marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with third-party website development agency to ensure the website is technically sound and meets all performance requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for new features and functionality.
- In collaboration with the Senior Web Designer, creates and/or updates wireframes, design comps, website style guide, website publishing standards manual, project scope of work and planning implementation documents to support the Web Teams in executing web projects.
- Consults and advises users, management, physicians, vendors, and others concerning the site strategy, architecture, design and web governance and third-party digital marketing tools.
- Trains and supports marketing users on CMS and other web tools.
- Helps to ensure that web governance is followed in systems and applications by staying in compliance with policies, standards and best practices.
- Develops and maintains a general awareness, contemporary and emerging technologies, and relevant laws and regulations to provide sound advice on the acquisition and use of automated systems.
- Collaborates with third-party website development agency for advanced coding and other large-scale projects

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in website design, preferably in an enterprise-level company or agency.
- Strong design skills and a deep understanding of layout principles, UX, lead generation journey, website best practices.
- Experience with website design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in simple HTML and understanding of CSS.
- Experience with website analytics, and a good knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
- Experience with WordPress and Drupal content management systems and others as well.
- Healthcare marketing experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Technologies:

- Design: CSS, Photoshop
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, and/or Marketing desirable
- Experience with Drupal and WordPress is preferred
