We are currently seeking a Medicaid Business Analyst to join our team in Kapolei, Hawaii (US-HI), United States (US).
Overview of Job:
The successful candidate will work under the direction of and in conjunction with the Project Manager and the client to plan and complete activities associated with the assigned project. The candidate will be part of a collaborative team providing data management support to a State DHS client.
Job Responsiblities Include:
• Develop and present formal presentations to business leaders, partners, and team members
• Function as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders
• Research and provide recommendations to the client on data quality issues, business problems/decisions
• Attend project and status meetings
• Identify and report project issues and risks
• Ensure that program identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed
• Collaborate with team members, client, and partners to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicable
• Assist the state and partners in research, analysis and identification of source and target data, documentation discrepancies and propose solutions to address
• Interface with state staff and vendors; ensure state staff and vendors share a common understanding of requirements and desired outcomes
• Identify and produce reporting as needed to address client data needs
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience working for a State Health program or performing consulting services to a state government program
• Minimum 3 years of experience data analysis within and across systems
• Minimum 3 years performing data reporting or KPI identification, tracking and reporting
• Undergraduate degree or 4 years additional relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
• Experience translating Federal and State regulations into working requirements that are actionable by technical teams
• Experience working with and/or liaising with Medicaid Enterprise and other systems vendors
• Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
For Colorado Candidates
In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $74,000 to 112,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
