Responsibilities:
The Product Manager of Medicaid and Integrated Products is responsible for the ongoing management of Elderplan’s Managed Long Term Care (HomeFirst) and Medicaid Advantage Plus (Elderplan Plus Long-Term Care) products. This includes leading and/or supporting efforts around product strategy and management, State and CMS contract/amendment reviews, regulatory compliance with product and benefit requirements and reporting, member materials management, and Medicaid regulatory and benefit implementations. The Manager will ensure that products are administered in accordance with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; Masters degree in business, health administration, public administration, or related field, preferred.
- 5+ years experience required in product strategy and management, project management, performance improvement, and large-scale operational implementation.
- In-depth experience with Managed Care strategy, analytics, or operations such as benefit design and configuration, marketing, network, clinical or care management, quality, performance improvement, or regulatory.
- Experience in Medicaid and Medicare programs, especially with the following products: Managed Long Term Care, Medicaid Advantage Plus, Medicaid Managed care, and/or Special Needs Plans required.
- Experienced with developing project plans, drafting project summaries, internal and external policy analysis, and use of analytics to support product development and planning.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Microsoft Project; Microsoft Visio; Microsoft Access.
- Data analytics or experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or any dashboard applications preferred.
- Ability to develop and analyze reports, identify and query data metrics to support product analysis and development, and select vendor performance.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret regulations and policies that impact technical and operational business units within a managed care organization.
- Ability to initiate and manage benefit design and/or large-scale implementations as the subject matter expert (SME) for CMS and/or DOH requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills both written and verbal to internal and external audience.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate meetings, capture key discussion points, and influence stakeholders to lead next steps.
