Our client is seeking a Medical Collector to support their department. This is a contract to hire role, offering $20-$22 hourly, and is on a 5 day in office work schedule and 1 rotating Saturday per month.
Role: Medical Collector
Location: Dallas, TX 75235
Hours: M-F 8-5pm
Pay Rate Range: $ 20 – $ 22 / hour
Job Duties:
- Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care
- Processing denials and insurance appeals
- A/R outpatient follow-up
- Handle incoming patient calls
- Patient collection calls
- Ability to verify Insurance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in DME billing and collections
- 2+ years experience in medical collections
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPCS coding
- Experience with physician claims
- Good communication and computer skills
