The individual in this classification functions as a customer service representative in the performance of technical and paraprofessional work in the dissemination of information regarding the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan.
What you’ll do:
- Work in a call center answering multi-line telephone promptly and professionally.
- Provide a positive customer experience by performing the following
- Liaison between the member and plan administrators.
- Assisting walk-in members with questions, problems, or concerns.
- Assisting walk-in members who wish to make a premium payment.
- Responds to all questions accurately and promptly, both verbally and in writing, in a respectful and courteous manner. Explains benefit information, eligibility and enrollment guidelines, address changes, and various other questions.
- Establishes and maintains a good rapport with members.
- Works in conjunction with other MCHCP departments to resolve members’ issues.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires one year customer service experience or one year of higher education.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
