MANAGER TALENT ACQUISITION
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Reporting directly to the Chief Colleague Officer, this position is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing strategies to support the hiring demands of City National Bank and direct oversight of the Talent Acquisition team. This leader will interact with business leaders to help connect and align talent strategies with the bank’s most critical hiring needs – ultimately enabling the business to achieve their strategic objectives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Develop and implement tactics to source and attract top diverse talent against current and future workforce planning strategies.
- Overseeing the recruitment leaders, recruiters, specialist and other related staff to ensure all recruitment efforts are aligned with the needs of the organization.
- Evaluate current practices and determine an optimal structure for the recruitment team that will meet the existing and future business growth goals.
- Enhance existing talent acquisition strategies that result in efficient, time-sensitive, cost-effective and value-added support services for managers.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of professional recruiters to ensure full engagement and outstanding performance. Establish a strong framework for leading, coaching, developing, and providing performance feedback.
- Leverage and expand our current brand messaging throughout our talent recruiting process and promote “Employer of Choice”.
- Provide feedback and assist in the design and evolution of leading-edge recruiting tools.
- Demonstrate a passion for driving/contributing to an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Drive improvements in recruiting processes and build best practices for the identification and sourcing of talent, search firm utilization and selection, candidate experiences that engage prospects and candidates, interviewing and screening, reference checking, employment offer structures and talent acquisition metrics.
- Lead Executive and Retained search strategies including management of Executive Recruitment team(s) and any partnerships with retained search firms.
- Continually monitor and analyze sourcing, recruiting, diversity, and recruiting model to build in strategy for continuous improvement; drive the annual diversity plan implementation.
- Identify and share current recruiting trends and recommend new and/or improved approaches that allow for the cultivation of a diverse pipeline of talent for current and future needs.
- Ensure legal compliance regarding all staffing initiatives and related programs.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in HR/senior leadership in high volume recruitment roles with a track record of successful selection at all levels of the organization.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in building, managing and developing fully engaged recruitment teams.
Skills and Knowledge
- Direct experience with recruitment oversight with proven track record of partnerships with search firms as part of sourcing strategies including executive/retained search.
- Proven success leading recruitment searches and meeting/exceeding client and candidate expectations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; demonstrated ability to accurately and concisely identify key issues and communicate them in an inspiring manner with clarity.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, leadership presence, networking skills, listening skills and interpersonal sensitivity.
- In-depth knowledge of innovative recruiting practices, sourcing trends, talent assessments, diversity planning, and latest use of technology.
- Experience successfully building and leading talent acquisition teams in dynamic and fast-paced, high growth environments-hiring/managing exceptional team and providing coaching and training.
- Ability and inclination to roll up sleeves and dig in is a must; so too is the ability to handle multiple functions (recruiting, employment operations and systems, people management challenges, executive recruitment) simultaneously and independently.
- A very strong drive, dedication and work ethic; team orientation with the ability to contribute; and the ability to thrive in a high-growth, corporate environment.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $157,943 – $293,299 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
