Boeing Enterprise Services Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) is looking for highly passionate, collaborative, and people focused Mid-Level and/or Senior Business Intelligence and Analytics Analyst s to lead the BI&A team within our Center of Expertise (COE) in Mesa, AZ; N. Charleston, SC; Huntsville, AL; San Antonio, TX or Hazelwood, MO.

This critical role will partner and collaborate with organizational leadership to understand business needs and develop innovative solutions that are easily understood to drive strategic decisions that support our mission to deliver simpler, faster, better outcomes for our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker that leverages their strong supply chain process knowledge coupled with technical capability to translate data and insights into a compelling story to drive strategy, action, and decision making across all levels within ISC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop data solutions end to end, from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to partner with other analysts to implement
  • Innovate and create automated and user friendly reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools that are easily accessible and consumable for both PA teams and senior leaders to help drive category strategies and leadership decision making
  • Define and build Key Performance Indicators and Scorecards to measure organizational performance
  • Stratify multiple disparate data sets and develop meaningful analysis
  • Lead deep dive analysis assignments
  • Ensure the data quality and integrity of BI solutions is validated
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis to support complex business questions and decisions
  • Capture market intelligence to support category strategies
  • Stay up to date on industry data, market intelligence, and business intelligence trends and tools
  • Operate with a curious and continuous improvement mindset by constantly looking for opportunities to innovate, create, refine, and optimize solutions with the goal of simpler, faster, better

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence
  • 1+ years of experience working cross-functionally in a leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience in the basic coding of HTML to support website development and maintenance
  • 1+ years of experience do you have in Supply Chain

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience with the Ariba procurement system
  • 1+ years of experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • 3+ years of experience do you have mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams?

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)
Bachelor’s and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience, 9 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years’ related work experience, Master+12 years’ related work experience, 18 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $88,400 – $119,600

Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 4): $112,200 – $151,800

Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 5): $129,200 – $174,800

Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: If the successful candidate is not a “U.S. Person” (as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees) and the position requires access to export-controlled data, an appropriate export authorization by the U.S. Government may be required prior to such access. Employment, and the continuity of employment of non-U.S. persons, is contingent upon the company’s ability to secure and maintain the necessary export control authorization.
