Distribution Marketing Manager – Employer Markets | Flex

What you do:Identify opportunities to drive employer market sales results through marketing campaigns, materials and programs. Draft content and/or direct the development and creative direction of distribution marketing initiatives through project leaders in creative services. Create and execute tactical distribution marketing communication plans. Drive proactive collaboration with marketing leadership, distribution partners and support departments to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and on-time delivery of marketing initiatives.

Create and execute tactical marketing initiatives that support and drive sales momentum for distribution, including; This role will focus on evolving the advertising and events strategy in support of driving greater brand awareness in employer markets. In addition, recommend marketing projects, solutions and plans of action that drive sales results. Execute and manage initiatives on time and within budget. Identify target markets and segments for marketing initiatives. Ensure accurate measurement and reporting of marketing initiative results. Ensure the accuracy of marketing materials across all mediums. Identify opportunities to improve existing marketing collateral. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive marketing materials and programs.

Manage projects
• Provide product/distribution expertise and marketing direction for communications, materials, messages, and promotions. Manage the creation process of marketing projects with creative services and other support divisions. Maintain close communication and collaboration on projects and programs. Assist with special projects as required.

Manage relationships
• Drive communications with brand, marketing, distribution and all functional areas to proactively promote marketing initiatives. Build strong relationships with peers on the marketing, distribution and other support teams. Collaborate with product development, distribution and training in the launch of new products. Appropriately influence decisions to reflect the desired direction for marketing initiatives.

Develop insights
• Develop deep knowledge of employer markets, intermediaries, plan sponsors and participants. Help shape research efforts and package ups insights into actionable content. And be a subject matter expert across Growth & Marketing for questions related to employer markets.

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience required within Financial Services with a minimum of 6 years in sales and/or marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Active Life and Health license, series 6 or 7 preferred
  • FLMI, CFP, ChFC or other industry designations preferred

Base Salary Range $76,000-152,000Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
