Arcadis is seeking a Electrical Engineer to support the Design and Engineering team within the Places global business area. This position is remote and can preformed anywhere in the United States.

Role description:
As an Electrical Engineer you will participate in the electrical discipline of multiple concurrent design projects through pursuits, proposal, design, and construction phases. You will support design efforts and assist the engineer of record. As the Electrical Engineer you may also support proposal and business development efforts.
Role accountabilities:
- Active member of design teams to develop construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination.
- Design for available capacity, redundancy, reliability, efficiency, and safety, as well as constructability and cost.
- Develop strong industry relationships with other design professionals.
- Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys, data collection for power system studies, electrical system audits and collaboration with clients’ team members.
- Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and safety standards such as NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC as well as international standards such as IEC, CE, EN.
- Exposure to design and modelling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, BIM360, SKM, Etap, EDSA, Easy Power).
- Participate in development of solutions to complex projects.
- Assist with various system studies (arc flash, load, short circuit, coordination)
- Support proposal efforts to win design work
- Work with designers to develop sealed drawings of your designs
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- BS in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in engineering
- Pursuing EI/EIT or PE registration (Engineering Intern/Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Consulting experience.
- Design experience producing IFC drawings for industrial facilities.
- Design team experience.
- Lean design and construction experience.

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $61200 – $105570.
