Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) P8 Supply Chain group is hiring a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to support the team in Renton, Washington on a 2nd Shift (1:30 p. m. – 9: 30 p.m.).

The Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst will be responsible for working with the supply chain to fulfill the responsibilities of the Supply Chain Management Analyst (SCMA) role on the BCA team. This position is within the Materials Management (Supply Chain) organization. The BCA team supports the final assembly of the P-8 aircraft prior to delivery to the Boeing Defense business unit. The Boeing P-8 is truly a multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft, excelling at anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and search and rescue. The successful candidate must be able to work on 2nd shift (1:30 p. m. – 9: 30 p.m.).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Analyzes complex material requirements
  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
  • Determines part number attributes
  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensures on-time delivery
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Develops and controls inventory plans
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Initiates audits
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Willing to work on a 2nd shift (1:30 pm – 9:30 pm)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supporting operations, materials management and/or supply chain functions in production environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
  • 1+ years of experience scheduling and ordering inventories/supply
  • 1+ years of supply chain experience
  • Willing to work on a 2nd shift (1:30pm – 9:30pm)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years of experience working in a role that required strong interpersonal and communicating skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • ERPLN system a plus

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $81,600 – $110,400
