Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to support the Harbour Pointe Team based out of Mukilteo, Washington.
Successful candidates will work with a team of experienced SCMA’s to schedule and coordinate the delivery of Buyer Furnished Equipment to support airplane build and delivery across all Everett BCA programs. The Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) organization works closely with Boeing and customer suppliers to provide BFE, Customer Selected/Specific Equipment (CSE), and Seller-Purchased Equipment (SPE) for production aircraft as well as imminently delivering aircraft.
Position Responsibilities :
- Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
- Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
- Analyzes complex material requirements
- Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
- Determines part number attributes
- Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
- Ensures on-time delivery
- Documents and resolves order delinquencies
- Reports schedule adherence issues
- Develops and controls inventory plans
- Optimizes inventory levels
- Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
- Initiates audits
- Develops and creates schedules for products and services
- Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
- Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
- Works under general direction
- Ordering and scheduling for 2nd issue BFE (Buyer Furnished Equipment) parts
- Issue BFE parts to factory/field to meet in-sequence work and airplane milestones
- Handle second issue BFE part requirements, as necessary
- Work with factory, QA, and fulfillment to support second issue rejections, loans, and fit check parts
- Provide part updates to airline customers and participate in customer meetings
- Prepare weekly progress reports and attend shortage meetings as required
- Expedite shortages in response to accelerated orders, backorders or non-forecasted demands
- Mitigate shortage conditions on any past due orders
- Work with TW&L logistic support group on expedited and AOG orders, and for help clearing shipments from Customs
- Work with CQS, Customer Engineering, and Business Operations on any part issues that do not meet customer requirements
- Support any special projects or assignments for Buyer Furnished Equipment
- Support implementation of OneBPS
- Commitment to Quality; support any designated quality improvement projects
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
- 3+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, utilizing ERPLN, IBAS, SAP or other similar MRP systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with ERPLN, SAP or other similar MRP systems
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Masters, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $81,600 – $110,400
