Job Purpose:
Installs machinery and equipment in industrial establishment, repairs existing machinery and equipment, and assists with the training of millwright trainees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Dismantles machines.
- Moves machinery and equipment.
- Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and speed reduced assembles.
- Constructs foundation for machines.
- Aligns machines and equipment.
- Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
- Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment.
- Will be expected to respond to call-back when requested by supervisor.
- Training position for the operation of the engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- Training position for the operation of the vertical mill to cut keyways, machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- Performs lift truck PM service and makes necessary repairs.
- Perform minor Machinist duties on the lathe and vertical mill.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2-3 years of welding experience. Certification is a plus.
Schedule:
Day Shift:Monday to Friday; 6:15am-2:45pm
Compensation:
Starting pay range $29-32/hour depending on experience
