JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.
- Understands importance of and complies with Mill and department safety and environmental policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates
- Troubleshooting and servicing all production and support equipment within the facility in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Provides technical support by operating a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions within the mill.
- Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations.

Requirements
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Journeyman skill level experience in an industrial mechanical system.
- Mechanical includes experience in the following areas: Rotating Equipment, Bearings, Precision alignment, Product Moving Systems, Power Transmissions, Oil Seals, Mobile Equipment, and Gear Reducers.
- Pulp and Paper industry experience a definite plus.
Industry experience is a plus
