Job Description
Schmidt Construction is seeking a Shop Administrator to work at our Colorado Springs location. The Shop Administrator supports the maintenance department by requisitioning parts, managing parts inventory and scheduling mobile equipment maintenance while performing clerical and administrative responsibilities supporting the site’s safety program.
We are a unique, 100-year-old family-owned company that transforms our recycled products into construction materials, lightweight aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, agricultural products, and more. We provide steel mill services, flame cutting and treatment, road building, logistics, laboratory testing, and a variety of other solutions for our customers.
Pay: $18-21
Day Shift
Responsibilities
The Shop Administrator will:
- Processing eAM work orders in Oracle including monthly closings of all orders
- Monitoring repairs through eAM
- Tracking equipment maintenance hours for Preventative Maintenance
- Entering warranty information
- Providing internal & external customer service
- Running reports for PM scheduling
- Maintaining lists/logs of information
- Providing administrative support functions for the Manager
- Assisting manager in supervision of internal repair work
- Scheduling internal repairs
- Dispatching field mechanics
- Acting as backup for Shop Administrative Assistant
- Other responsibilities deemed necessary by manager
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent with advanced specialized computer training –
- Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets and database programs
- (Windows, Word, Excel, Access)
- 2-5 years administrative experience
- 10 years equipment maintenance repair experience
- Valid motor vehicle drivers license with good driving record
