Responsibilities
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Advanced Engineer to support our Colorado Springs, CO location.
In this role you will get to demonstrate and apply your demonstrated knowledge of Modeling and Simulation requirements management, design and integration for Missile Defense Live/Virtual/Constructive exercises.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting development and integration of low, medium, and high fidelity modeling and simulation models for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD).
Coordination of engineering requirements, project schedules, and analysis of model performance.
Hands on integration of new simulation capabilities, troubleshooting, benchmarking models, and post exercise analysis.
Facilitate working groups to enable program status, technical exchange, and to generate reports for the customer.
Qualifications
Required Skill/Experience:
- Experience in Modeling & Simulation development.
- Strong understanding of Modeling & Simulation tools.
- Managing fast tempo projects with attention to detail and schedule.
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefings, and preparing technical products.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in development of technical products.
- Travel: 25 %
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Field with 7+ years experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience in modeling and simulation physical environments.
- Experience in experience in weapon system technology as well; Aegis ships, THAAD, Command and Control.
- Experience in requirements tracing aiding industry partners development with customer requirements.
- Experience in analysis of verification and validation (V&V) evidence.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) to successfully develop and integrate modeling and simulation capabilities into system architectures.
- Demonstrated knowledge in missile defense related sensors technologies. (ground based radar, airborne radar, electro-optical InfraRed (IR), space based IR)
