What you’ll learn & achieve:

The Multimedia Designer will be supporting Safety, Health, and Environmental Courseware

content development skills for online learning projects. Represents the company’s quality in all projects through careful consideration of eLearning standards and strict instructional methodologies.

  • Creates eye-catching, interactive multimedia content for clients and our large library of workplace training.
  • Manages the selection and display of graphics, images, and videos and uses appropriate visual themes that best deliver safety, health, and environmental content to learners.
  • Uses technical skills and modern web-design concepts to find creative solutions to help customers and learners.
  • Balances collaborative team efforts with independent work, following provided processes and resources in a milestone-driven environment.
  • Creates and maintains best-practices documentation.
  • Provides ideas and feedback to improve content creation.
  • Experience with foreign languages and cultures or a background in working with translated products is a plus.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus generally three or more years of directly related experience.
  • Solid online portfolio demonstrating engaging design with mastery of dynamic composition and information design.
  • Detailed knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures, including experience in graphic design.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple web-based projects while maintaining excellent quality and superior customer service.
  • Detailed knowledge of authoring tools and the demonstrated ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to communicate well (written and verbal) with subject-matter experts, project managers, instructional designers, and quality assurance specialists.
  • Ability to complete projects as scheduled and within budget.

Total Rewards:The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 5% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.

We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
