What does this role look like?
As the Creative Operations Lead, you will enable the creative team to operate at our natural best with projects flowing smoothly and aligned to creative industry standards and business strategy. You’ll collaborate with team members, leadership and business partners to foster continuous productivity improvements and resolve issues across the creative workflow. You’ll lead the planning and execution of our infrastructure roadmap to ensure the team has the creative tools and capabilities needed to support the business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Identify and implement creative best practices, workflow and technology improvements to help the team support the highest priorities of the business with agility, efficiency and urgency
• Spearhead evaluation, implementation and operation of tools used in the creative production process (e.g., asset management, workflow, archive and backup)
• Gather and analyze project, labor and budget metrics from multiple systems to enable data-informed decision-making
• Liaison with IT department to maintain our infrastructure plan and ensure operational readiness of creative tools and systems (e.g., render farm, networks, backup/archive)
• Liaison with procurement department and coach our team to ensure alignment with purchasing processes and procedures
• Advocate information sharing and knowledge continuity across the team through use of documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., wiki)
• Represent the team in enterprise planning and initiatives (e.g., capital purchases)
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 5+ years of professional in-house team or creative agency experience
• 3+ years working with Microsoft Excel to analyze and visualize metrics
• 3+ years integrating creative tools and data sources
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:
• Experience evaluating, implementing or administering workflow or asset management systems
• Experience partnering with IT or procurement teams
• Experience with Tableau or similar tools data visualization tools
• Experience with system design or disaster recovery/business continuity planning

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $74,700 – $143,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
