Summary
Maintains responsibility for coordinating and facilitating the implementation of digital content and features for Subaru.com and recommending content for various optimization strategies and scenarios as needed. Works with internal business stakeholders and partner agencies to understand the various digital experience optimization opportunities to improve conversions across the shopping and ownership journeys.
Primary Responsibilities
- Works in partnership with key Subaru of America (SOA) stakeholders and external agency partners to identify opportunities to improve Subaru.com’s visibility and conversion performance – this would include but is not limited to creating new pages to increase search engine optimization (SEO) rankings and organic traffic, utilizing Adobe Experience Cloud to deliver personalized experiences, and performing A/B tests for optimization of the vehicle shopping and buying experiences.
- Addresses requests for site optimizations. Works closely with stakeholders to understand their request and needs of their audiences. Uses subject matter knowledge to recommend content strategy that will meet expectations and satisfy the needs of the business. Depending on scope, will either complete the request themselves or coordinate request with agency partner or Subaru of America (SOA) IT. While being aware of timelines and budget, maintains responsibility for moving the request to completion, including briefing agency and/or IT on request, reviewing their work before launch, and evaluating success of content with stakeholder after launch.
- Establishes and implements procedures and workflows for the content optimization life cycle, including briefing documents, content creation, review/feedback/approval, legal clearance, Americans with Disabilities (ADA) requirements, translations, revisions, and/or content removal.
- Categorizes, prioritizes, and classifies the feature and content optimization requests into the right workflow based on complexity.
- Facilitates weekly communication meetings between internal stakeholders and agency external partners. Serves as bridge between stakeholders and agency partners to make sure stakeholders’ needs are being met and agency partner meets their required deliverables.
- Ensures quality assurance of web content through review and development process and verifies that it is consistent with business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Implements basic or minor content updates using the Content Management System/CMS (Adobe) and works with agency to implement more complex updates.
- Monitors dashboards of various key performance indicators (KPIs) and socializes the performance of new content, measuring the impact of optimizations (such as SEO, website personalization, etc.), analyzing trends and feedback to review with management.
- Actively participates in issue resolution (including technical) with our agency partners, SOA IT, and SOA Marketing management. For issues within Marketing area, proposes solutions to prevent issues from redeveloping.
Additional Responsibilities
- Works with the Web Operations Manager to address field and retailer feedback, customer data privacy requests, brand or trademark concerns, and data/performance requests.
- Makes data-driven decisions around content and customer experience utilizing the data available to the team – including, but not limited to, usability studies, web analytics, SEO tools, etc.
- Collaborates with management to identify and recommend interactive tools or integrations that will improve the customer experience.
- Frequently interacts with leadership and executive teams.
- Collaborates with multiple agencies and internal departments.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge and background of using a Content Management System (ex: Adobe) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools.
- Knowledge and background of search engine optimization (SEO) practices and experience in using web analytics tools for analysis of content and site performance.
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and balance and prioritize the needs of various stakeholders within budget and time constraints.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to think openly and creatively.
Education/Experience Requirements: BA/BS with four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience administering content and optimizations for websites.
Work Environment
- Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)
- Required Travel: 10%
- Internal Work Environment: Prolonged sitting at desk and working on a computer
Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $65800- $90000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
