National Operations Director PM/CM

STV is seeking an Operations Director PM/CM
• The responsibilities of the Operations Director will include:

Lead and/or guide special projects and business processes to improve the operating efficiency of the division.
• Assist the division President and Regional Managers with coordination and follow up to accomplish division and/or company-wide initiatives and goals
• Work with division President to prepare for management meetings, including assembly and development of technical presentations on performance of the divisions and improve format for clear presentation of results and follow-up
• Work with the division President with preparation for operations meetings at all levels of the division
• Coordinate, manage and update inputs to the strategic plan as part of a long-term growth initiative to increase STV’s PMCM presence nationwide
• Engage with Program and Project Managers on a periodic basis to ensure P&L metrics and goals for projects are met and understood
• Develop process, procedures and governance elements necessary for the successful operation of the division
• Perform monthly or quarterly project reviews with regional managers and program/project managers
• Collaborate and oversee the Safety and Quality functions within the division to identify and implement best practices, develop a set of leading and lagging indicators of performance, identify nationwide trends and needs, oversee development of training programs and completion of required training programs with regular monthly updates to meet yearly goals ahead of year end closing
• Assist and ensure proper analysis and reporting of operational and P&L performance metrics to the division President and the Regional Managers, in support of presentations, reports and meetings with the COO and CFO on a regular basis
• Work with division regional managers to improve operational efficiency on project mark-ups, estimates to complete, billability, project status reviews, staffing needs, labor reports and cashflow
• Prepare special reports on key large-scale projects related to financial and technical performance and risks including financial mitigations
• Work hand-in-hand with talent acquisition and human resources on staffing, hiring needs and employee development opportunities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree
• Minimum of 15 years of experience, with 5 years of experience as responsible in charge for operations and P&L metrics and results for regional or divisional operations
• Experience leading and accomplishing mission critical initiatives to improve operational performance
• Strong communicator and collaborator at all levels of the team
• Strong analytical skills and Microsoft excel, and database skills required
• Strong time management, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
• Prior supervisory experience required
• Experience in the AEC industry, specifically in Program and Construction Management
• Experience executing construction programs or projects, considered a plus
• Experience with BST or similar business software
• Project Controls Experience Preferred
