How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:
As the National Field Sales Trainer, Strategic Services you are responsible for designing, implementing, and executing education and development programs for the LifeNet Health Orthopedic field sales team. Works closely with sales and marketing leaders to align initiatives that are developed. Instrumental in ensuring the field organization is prepared to not only engage customers on the technical and clinical elements of our products, but also on the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of our portfolio, while supporting the LifeNet Health mission. In addition to designing new curricula, the National Sales Trainer will be instrumental in developing new and innovative ways to deliver the curriculum following best practices in adult learning within assessed constraints. Effective execution in this role will have a measurable impact on the organization by enhancing the capabilities and skill sets of the sales team through initial product training, advanced product training, improved selling skills, disease state knowledge, as well as clinical and business acumen.
What you’ll do:
- Develop Sales Training Strategy and Curricula: Conducts initial assessment to determine existing knowledge gap. Builds a sales training strategy and communicates with key stakeholders to gain organizational alignment. Develops, implements and executes curricula and training content to the field sales teams through multiple channels. Collaborates with cross functional teams to develop new employees and continuing education course curricula, delivery materials and best practices within the classroom setting and/or other remote modalities. Engages field organization through periodic visits to understand the current selling, competitive, clinical and healthcare environment and makes necessary changes to the curriculum to ensure employees are adequately trained and developed. Stays abreast of training and tissue banking industry.
- Training and Employee Development: Develops and executes in-house and in-field training activities for new hires as well as ongoing employee coaching and development while ensuring alignment of overarching sales process and strategic sales development program (i.e., Pangea). Identifies areas of need and ensures consistency across all regions and areas. Works closely with field sales management to develop and deliver national and regional sales meeting program content to support strategic objectives. Collaborates with BLC to develop and implement training through innovative training materials such as Pod Casts, training videos, and eLearning’s. Partners with cross functional leaders to create and deliver training that effectively builds commercial launch capabilities and prepares the sales teams to successfully launch new products.
- Sales Training Program Management: Actively manages and provides oversight to the LifeNet Health Sr. BIS sales trainer program, including selection process, skill development, and utilization of the field-based team. Prepares and manages annual budget for sales training function.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years’ experience in sales, sales training, sales process, and field sales program management within the healthcare industry
- Seven (7) years’ experience in training, mentoring, and onboarding others on job-related procedures and processes.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree – Life Sciences, Allied Health, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Education or related from an accredited college or university.
- Certified Tissue Banking Specialist provided through the American Association of Tissue Banking provides tissue industry knowledge
- Five (5) years’ experience selling or training in allograft/biological tissues.
- Seven (7) years’ experience training new sales employees
These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- Sales Process Expertise – Ability to translate sales process methodology (ex. Pangea) into in-house and in-field development and coaching for the field teams, including sales reps and sales managers.
- Communication Skills & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization. Ability to present to a variety of audiences including both small and large groups. Ability to articulate well and train course materials so that they are easily understood, and value added. Ability to prepare clear and concise training materials.
- Computer and Software Skills – Computer and software skills in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc., to develop presentation materials. (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint required)
- Customer Service & Mentoring – Ability to listen and understand the needs and requests of others (end user, stakeholders) and provide coaching and mentoring to others.
- Needs Assessment – Ability to apply the fundamental concepts and practices to conduct needs assessment and design training programs.
- Time Management Skills – Demonstrates ability to multi-task and prioritize training objectives within the assigned budget and time constraints.
Preferred:
- Computer & Software Skills – Experience presenting via Web Ex or other modalities to remote audiences.
- Customer Service & Mentoring – Experience coaching field sales representatives.

The pay range for this position is listed below for candidates who would reside in specific states requiring pay information.
California, Washington, Colorado, New York: $85,515 to $148,227.30.
