Arcadis is seeking a National Technical Manager to join our Places business group.

Role description:
Roles at this level provide professional leadership in their discipline at a national level, establishing and consolidating relationships with clients, managing the delivery of large, complex projects or specialized components of projects, supporting the development of Arcadis capability in the discipline, and building and maintaining a professional reputation as an individual and for Arcadis.
Role accountabilities:
- Technical expert focused on innovation and emerging practices in their technical sub-discipline; has depth and breadth of knowledge which may either be focused on specific technology or across broad disciplines.
- Advanced professional consulting skills including project management, client relationship management and strategic management.
- Advanced understanding of relationship between client needs, Arcadis projects, and client organization
- Proven Success on Large Scale projects
- Demonstrate technical leadership through CoP leadership
- Lead the design of innovative engineering solution for clients that resolve complex problems
- Develop complex project scope of work and engineering solutions
- Responsible for establishing quality technical standards and ensuring those standards are met throughout the organization
- Responsible for managing and developing a team of Data Center Design specialists.
- Coach and mentor DCD specialists to support development of Arcadis’ talent pool; Recruit and motivate staff to achieve goals and objectives
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Certification or equivalent,
• 15 or more years of engineering experience in the technology sector (data center/ mission critical design) including extensive work in consultancy.
• Significant consulting experience on large scale/highly complex projects,
• Experience of managing business relationships at Executive level,
• Recognized expert in a professional discipline with well-established industry networks,
Preferred Qualifications:
- Holds an advance degree such as a master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Subject Matter Expert in a key technical area and sector
- Certified Data Center Designer (CDCD)
- 20 years of engineering experience in consultancy

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116,000 – $200,100.
