Job Responsibilities

This is position is located in the Bureau of Information Technology Services, Richland County.
Are you the One? We are looking for a Network Administratorwho, under the direction of the Training and Software Support Manager, provides technical consulting and training to Agency end users. In addition to working regularly with routine help desk calls, the employee will assume responsibility for training needs analysis, instructor led training, and development of in-house training materials.
- Provide user software training on Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite products and other selected agency software systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Assist other IT Services personnel with resolving various hardware and software issues.
- Maintain content on MySCLearning.
- Submit weekly metric report.
- Perform other duties as required.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in information technology systems, computer science, or a related field and experience in automated information or communication system design, installation, operation, and repair.
Relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Requires holder to drive routinely.
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting requirements: 50 lbs.
- Overtime and/or weekend work with Deputy approval.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of communication, or information systems.
- Knowledge of various software and hardware infrastructure and their uses including hardware installation, operation, and repair.
- Knowledge of computer system analysis, design, testing, debugging and maintenance.
- Knowledge of information security and assurance.
- Experience in Windows active directory administration.
- Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
