Are you great at troubleshooting technical problems? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you in our Corporate Network Operations Center (NOC) in Baton Rouge, LA! Our NOC is seeking to fill the critical role of Network Operations Center Administrator to monitor and troubleshoot digital billboards across the country. You’ll work alongside a handful of other NOC Administrators and report to the NOC Team Leader.
Once training is complete, you will required to work an on-call rotation (Monday – Sunday) 1 week out of every 10 which includes the weekend. On-call hours are worked via a combination of remote and in-office hours. We’re very proud of our digital billboard inventory across the country. This position is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting digital billboards to make sure they’re all running at peak proficiency!

With the fluctuating nature of technology, the perfect candidate should be self-motivated and dependable, possessing the organizational ability to multi-task and prioritize their workload as issues arise. Of course, computer proficiency is key for this role.
As this is an internally customer-focused position, energy, enthusiasm, and a personable customer service focus is important. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important to communicate with local Lamar offices across the country and our vendors.
Finally, we function as a team, so you must be a team player! There will be times when you work on issues alone, so independence from a team is important as well.
Education and experience:
- Associates degree or some college preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Previous technical support experience preferred

A day in the life:
The NOC Administrator identifies digital display malfunctions, opening & servicing call tickets accordingly. We have designated Digital Technicians in our offices across the company, so the NOC Administrators partner with them to resolve any digital billboard malfunctions.
Our NOC Administrators also field internal customer issues, and coordinate vendor relationships with digital display manufacturers.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- The primary work environment is an office.
- The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
- Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%
