Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Services or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that would provide the following knowledge, abilities and skills;
- Minimum of five years experience in the administration and configuration of network infrastructure;
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) preferred or equivalent experience with Cisco networking equipment;
- Experience with installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN’s, and related network hardware and software;
- Comprehensive knowledge of Network Operating Systems (including but not limited to LANs and MANs)
- Thorough understanding of wireless networking and IP telephony;
- Interpersonal skills necessary to work successfully in a team environment, along with all categories of employees and the public;
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Pay Rate:
Administrative Support Grade P11Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)
Assignment:
Full time / 12 months / 245 days
