Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for making reliable tactical decisions with minimal intervention from more senior management. Makes recommendations on strategic issues.
- Typically manages a group of 9 – 20 operations and network specialists who are generally focused on supporting lottery and commercial operations for multiple (10-15) jurisdictions.
- Basic understanding of lottery operations including systems, sales, retailer network management, POS (including wagers, validations, messages), game features, procurement and administration.
- Manages gaming systems and other business systems to ensure daily service levels are met.
- Develops staff through proper delegation, trust, listening to ideas and encouragement by focusing on the potential of the Specialist through the demonstration of ethics, integrity, diversity, respect, interests and an approachable demeanor. Provides proper feedback and recognition to staff.
- Acts as Incident Manager for all systems and network events. Serves as primary contact for multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years Operations Supervisor or equivalent individual contributor position.
- Has investigative skill necessary to make in-depth diagnosis and can recommend solutions.
- Ability to oversee multiple jurisdictional system operations with complex applications utilizing more than one operating system.
- Able to direct and coordinate troubleshooting activities for all events.
- Ability to make major decisions consistent with corporate and departmental standards, policies and procedures but some latitude is given to troubleshoot daily issues within these standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field or six years technical experience with at least 2 years in a management or project leadership role.
- Knowledge of budget process so as to organize, anticipate and monitor budgetary needs for the department.
- Ability to oversee multiple jurisdictional system operations with complex applications utilizing more than one operating system.
- Able to direct and coordinate troubleshooting activities for all events.
- Ability to make major decisions consistent with corporate and departmental standards, policies and procedures but some latitude is given to troubleshoot daily issues within these standards.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $62,700 – $164,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
