Primary Responsibilities:

2nd Shift Order Selectors will retrieve product, stacks orders for delivery or pack in containers, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. Directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for pulling product and filling customer orders accurately and efficiently from the correct location
  • Paying detailed attention to matching product item numbers
  • Correct product count
  • Placement of items into totes or on pallets
  • Performing end of shift tasks such as; charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
  • Maintaining clean, orderly workstation-returning supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Committing to safe work practices in adherence with Core-Mark’s safety policies and requirements.
  • Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • No warehouse experience needed- willing to train
  • Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
  • Able to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some warehouse experience
  • Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
