Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our Fulfillment team in Everett, Washington on first shift.
The Materials Management and Transportation Manager will lead a team supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, develops and executes integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives.
The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a complex organization, and can demonstrate their knowledge of the company and multiple functional subject areas to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the 777-9 CI&R Standards and Expedite Team (Team is located both at the EDC (Everett Delivery Center) and the 40-22 Bay)
- Transform the production system, drive standardization and promote continuous safety leadership and promotion of an Incident and Injury Free workplace
- Manage, develop, motivate and build trust with employees and stakeholders
- Integrate and collaborate across the Supply Chain function
- Enhance the skill and talent of our team to meet the current and future business environment
- Identify and leverage best practices from both within and outside the enterprise improvement in everything we do
- Model a sense of purpose, urgency and desire to be the best at what we do
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of supply chain processes and/or suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- The Interiors Responsibility Center Materials Management team operates on 2 shifts. Qualified candidate must be willing and able to work either shift.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in Boeing Manufacturing Operation functions (Manufacturing, Materials Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Operations)
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams, preferably leading both salary and hourly personnel
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with warehousing and logistics
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
- Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent in Supply Chain, business, or related field
Relocation:

Summary pay range: Everett, Washington $107,950 – $146,050
