For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team. This position will be at one of our many locations throughout the Capital District where we strive to offer an integrated health care practice. We are known for our quality of care for individuals with disabilities, which is at the heart of our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively with program Directors and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure equality, state-of-the-art, cost-effective services to pre-school and school age children.
- Collaborate with physicians, family and/or treatment teams to evaluate functional strengths and needs of the people we support
- Establish individualized, meaningful and appropriate therapy
The compensation range for this position is $32.50 to $35.50. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- NYS State Licensure, active and in good standing
- National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy for OTR.
- Experience is helpful, but we will consider new graduates for this position
- Ability to work with a team to collaborate and care for the whole person
- Knowledge of and ability to effectively use an electronic medical record (EMR)
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team
