We are looking for a Offender Services Manager!
The Offender Services Unit Manager will coordinate the programs and services designed to integrate released individuals back into the community. This includes managing all of the sheriff’s office transitions to Probation Detention Centers, Residential Substance Abuse Treatment, Probation Substance Abuse Treatment and Department of Corrections.
Essential Functions
• Manages and supervises the processing of all court documents to include sentences, bond, and releases.
• Supervises assigned staff.
• Facilitates and administers cognitive behavioral therapy and restorative justice programming for offenders.
• Serves as the liaison between Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Floyd County Court Systems, and the Georgia Department of Corrections to ensure accuracy of records and proper processing of court sentences and other offender records.
• Reviews offender applicants for program eligibility.
• Handles and oversees the evaluation of offender’s records.
Minimum Qualifications
• Associates Degree
• Three years of experience in offender based programs or a related field or any equivalent combination or education, training, and experience which with provide the requisite knowledge, skill, and abilities for the job.
