**Hiring Bonus in effect! $500 total, with $250 paid out at six months of employment and another $250 at one year of employment**

Third Way Center is looking for a part time Maintenance Technician, up to 24-30 hrs per week, who will be responsible to perform quality and efficient work for building repairs in line with the skills possessed. At times the Maintenance Technician will assess potential projects to advise and assess on the best course of action. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Operations Coordinator and works with the Maintenance Manager.

1. Attends work on a regular basis with amount of days missed not significantly impeding the performance.

2. Uses time effectively and collaboratively plans an appropriate schedule with his/her supervisor.

3. Effectively communicates with others with regard to preparing, organizing, or carrying out task completion.

4. Logs work and task completion.

5. Follows proper procedures for procurement of needed supplies and materials.

6. Performs preventative maintenance on air handling units (assessing and changing filters) and condenser units on refrigerators (cleaning) on a regular basis.

7. Uses other skills he/she has shown to possess to carry out other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Evidence of reliable work experience/records of performance and attendance.
  • Must possess physical capability to perform under heavy labor for long periods of time.
  • Preference shall be shown to candidates who illustrate a related work record to construction and handyman experience.
  • Ability to properly supervise use of tools in the milieu with proper safeguards for the residents.
