Position Summary
Perform a wide variety of clerical duties in support of an assigned function; develop and input correspondence and data into a computer terminal; assist and inform the public on departmental policies and procedures and assist with basic sorting, filing, copying and/or clerical accounting activities.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education directly related to the minimum requirements below may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
High school diploma or GED; and
Two (2) years of clerical experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver’s License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator’s Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.
Must possess a valid certified typing test issued by a state agency, county agency or an accredited educational institution with a minimum score of forty (40) net WPM. Local typing tests may be taken Monday – Friday 8am to 3:30pm at the following locations: NM Workforce Connection, 501 Mountain Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 OR Sandoval Workforce Connection, 301 Rail Runner Ave, Bernalillo, NM 87004.
