Job Summary/Basic Function
This position will assist with general office duties for the IT Finance and Office Manager, along with the office staff in Technical Education, Lampros Hall and the Vice President for Information Technology office in the Engineering Technology building.
Individual will perform general clerical, secretarial and office
duties, which include filing, data entry, compiling of paperwork, interacting with Information Technology employees, etc.
This position will assist in supporting office staff and others, as assigned. We are looking for someone to work year-round, including school breaks, 20 hours per week.
Because this is a Vice President’s office, applicants must assume the appropriate professional demeanor and the highest level of confidentiality and dress accordingly.
Criminal Background check is required as a condition of employment.
**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications
Familiar with current versions of Microsoft Word, Excel; Adobe Acrobat; Email and calendaring tools; mobile devices and tablets;
Applicants must have good writing and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
General office experience preferred. Current WSU student preferred
